We’re Live!

Dear fellow wanderers, daydreamers, and lovers of extraordinary experiences, we are bursting with excitement to share a personal invitation with you. Imagine stepping into a world where dreams take shape and where the ordinary becomes extraordinary. Brace yourselves, for Uncle Matthew's Airbnb is now open for bookings, and we couldn't be more thrilled to welcome you into our happy space.

Alongside launching on Air BNB, we have had a little mini logo refresh, as the brand has taken on a bigger personality and taken us in the right direction. This simple, fun, streamlined logo is the right mix of cool and retro as well as being easily read and recognised! We hope you love it as much as we do! It also matches the front cover of our soon to be published print magazine!

Which is nearly ready to be printed! You’ll be able to get your hands on one at the house. It will serve as an extremely handy and informative guidebook to the Yorke Peninsula, with all of our favourite tips inside.

Another moment that excited us recently was buying all of the bedlinen! Needless to say Caroline (myself) agonised over the style of each bedroom. We wanted it consistent with our theme but luxurious at the same time! Our favourite cushion so far is from 5Five7Five in Minlaton, and sits proudly on our tan leather lounge in the front room!

As you can imagine we are spending every waking moment working on this project. We’ve been here every weekend, with Matt painting fish benches and tending to odd jobs and myself working on everything behind the scenes, branding, digital marketing and building this website! Starting an Air BNB is definitely a labour of love, but it’s absolutely floating our boats.

It's time to reserve your spot at Uncle Matthew's Airbnb and unlock the door to an extraordinary experience that will ignite your imagination, awaken your sense of wonder, and leave you yearning for more. Pack your bags and step into the enchantment. We can't wait to welcome you home. It’s nice and cosy by the fire!
