Chillin' at Watsacowie Brewery: A Winter Adventure

Picture this: a chilly winter's day in Stansbury, South Australia. The air crisp, the vibes cozy by the Uncle Matthew’s fire but our crew and I were on a mission for good beer and good times.

Spoilt for choice…

Cue Watsacowie Brewery – our go-to spot for brews, laughs, and some serious doggo-spotting, when we want to go adventuring.

First off, walking into Watsacowie feels like stepping into a friend's awesome backyard party. There's a massive fire roaring, instantly warming our frozen toes.

We grabbed some seats…

nearby and settled in with pints of their finest brews. And let me tell you, those beers hit just right – Matt chose a Ginger Beer and I never stray from my favourite Dry Cider.

But wait, it gets better. We chose a board game off the shelf and a fierce game of Guess Who was then in full swing. The place was buzzing with laughter and friendly banter – total feel-good vibes all around. And speaking of vibes, the food truck parked outside was dishing out epic nachos and Yiros. Crunchy, cheesy goodness that paired like a dream with our drinks. Talk about a flavor explosion!

Now, here's the real kicker: Watsacowie is dog-friendly. Like, super dog-friendly. Everywhere we looked, there were pups of all shapes and sizes, living their best lives with their humans. It was like a canine paradise – tails wagging, some even asleep on pillows, the whole nine yards. Major props to Watsacowie for being so inclusive – they definitely know how to make everyone feel welcome.
